Matthew's Gospel - Chapter Five
Keep working on learning where to look for different things in Matthew's Gospel. In chapter four we saw Jesus' temptation in the wilderness and the start of his preaching ministry.
Read Matthew chapter five carefully. Recall the pattern Matthew uses of activities followed by a more extended discourse of Jesus. We're entering the first discourse, so we're nearing the end of the first major section of Matthew.
Write down at least three questions you hope will be answered. As always, I urge you to post them in the comments of this blog post, and to engage with other people's questions yourself!
