Mid-July Financial Update

Wittenberg Door Campus Ministry is funded by the generosity of our contributors. As a 501(c)(3) charitable organization we are glad to receive gifts which are tax deductible and which further our goal of providing face-to-face pastoral care to the students, faculty, staff, administrators and their families in the collegiate communities of Columbia Missouri.
Our annual budget, which is able to support all ministry activities and a full-time chaplain is approximately $100,000. In the past, we have not been able to raise our entire budget, though we remain hopeful. As of the middle of July, we have received about $20,000 in gifts, representing 20% of our budget.
As we pursue our goal of calling a full-time chaplain who will receive adequate pay, I urge you to continue providing the financial support this organization needs to continue. At present, Wittenberg Door is able to cover the expense of maintaining presence on campus and to care for transportation. However, we're still far away from being able to pay a salary. If you know people or organizations who would like to hear about our work or would consider contributing to support, please help us be in contact with them.
