Wittenberg Door Campus Ministry COVID Procedure
updated 15 October 2021, reviewed 3 January 2022
Wittenberg Door Campus Ministry recognizes that the COVID virus is communicable and can pose a serious health and safety risk. In current conditions, the Delta variant is known to pose a high risk to pregnant women and unborn children. To exhibit care for the participants in our events, as well as their families and friends, and to comply with University of Missouri guidelines, we request the following.
1) If riding to or from our events with those outside of your immediate household, please wear masks inside vehicles.
2) When practicable, we will keep the eating and drinking outdoors, so long as weather permits, so as to allow greater airflow and ease of retaining some distance from others.
3) Please wear a mask when indoors at our events if not eating and drinking. Some participants have relatives and close friends in higher risk categories.
4) As always, if you are not feeling well, particularly if you have a fever or cough, please do not attend our events. Take care of yourself. Let us know if you are unwell so we can pray for your recovery and offer to assist you if needed. The typical Christian summary of the Bible's commands in this regard is that we try to love and serve our neighbor, and that our neighbor is the person we are in contact with.
For further protection, our intention is to make sure we have a good record of the names, addresses, and contact information (phone and email) of those who attend our events. If someone should become ill, we do want to be able to let others known to have been in proximity to that person know, in case of a need for additional vigilance. While we have your information, we also plan to use it to let you know of future events!
