John’s Gospel is an excellent starting place for Greek students who have completed their basic grammatical instruction. These study modules are intended to assist in that study, which I conduct at The American Lutheran Theological Seminary Monday posts will use the Nestle-Aland 28th edition of the Greek New Testament text of John’s Gospel, used with permission. Footnotes are used for observations based on the Greek text. Sometimes words have been glossed or their forms or grammatical usage commented upon. Additionally, in our Wednesday posts we provide notes on English language commentaries which may be useful in exploring the text. We also make a separate post with a link to easily accessible versions of the text of the chapter, as well as questions for study and reflection.
