§ 103. Summary of Moral Reforms.
Schaff brings his chapter of comparison between Christian and pagan ethics to a close witha brief summary. He concludes that while Christianity tends to increase in the light it brings to society, paganism brings increasing darkness (Schaff 2014, Loc. 17129). Christianity has shown a historic pattern of protecting rights and human dignity as well as helping those in need. It is a religion which tends to reform society (Schaff 2014, Loc. 17140).
