Apology to the Augsburg Confession III, “Concerning the Son of God” pp. 120-121.
Article 3 of the Augsburg Confession affirms God the Son who became human. He was born of the virgin. The bulk of the article discusses his having a complete divine nature and a complete human nature but being only one inseparable person. There is a brief affirmation of the second article of the Apostles’ Creed. The Apology notes that the opponents approved this article. It briefly reviews the elements of the Apostles’ Creed as well.
